Blankets are dangerous for Babies....use sleep sacks instead! |
||||
Q: How does a sleep sack work? A: Introduced in Europe about twenty years ago, baby sleep sacks have become a necessity for all European mothers. They are worn over pajamas and once zipped cannot slip off the child's body. Wide at the bottom they allow freedom of movement for the legs. Baby stays warm and safe all night, sleeps better, so you do too! Q:What is it made of ? Our sleep sacks are REVERSIBLE, made in USA: You will find 100% cotton on both sides. Parents find cotton healthier than fleece or polar fleece because it allows the skin to breathe and ventilate. The filling is 100% naturally flame resistant polyester. No fire retardant additives. The polyester filling allows the sleep sack to stay in shape and will not twist around your baby, as it can happen with fleece sleep sacks. Q: How do I use the sleep sack? A: Choose pajamas according to the season and temperature in the baby's room. Place your baby, in the sleep sack, on his/her back. These sleep sacks replace a blanket, they are very versatile and can be used for 75% of the year – simply adjust the level of nightwear worn, depending on your individual baby and temperature of the bedroom. Try to keep the child's room at a constant temperature (64F/66F or18C/20C). Q: How do I know my baby is too hot or too cold? To check Babies' body heat do not rely on touching their hands... Because of their immature blood circulation, babies tend to have cold hands. Instead check their stomach or back. If you feel that your baby is too warm ( flushed and sweaty ) simply remove a layer of clothes. Try to keep the baby's room between 64 and 68F (18 to 20C). Under these conditions a bodysuit and light pajamas under the baby sleep sack will be just fine. Do not overheat your baby's nursery. Q: When do I start using the toddler size?
Infant size( 0 to 6 months) Length: 25 " from shoulder- Width: Shoulders: 11"- Waist:11 " Toddler size (6 to 24 months) Length: 39" from shoulder- Width: Shoulders: 13"- Waist: 13" When you start using the baby sleep sack early and regularly it becomes part of the bedtime routine. The baby sleeping bag becomes a comforting object, especially when away from home, it is a familiar sight that they associate with sleep. The greatest thing about the sleep sack and toddlers, is that it prevents them from climbing out of the crib. Therefore, you can use the baby sleeping bag until your toddler is potty trained or ready to move to a junior bed.
