Summer
or winter?
Use the baby sleeping bag according to seasons and weather
changes:
The
summer weight replaces a light blanket, the
winter weight a thicker one, like a baby quilt.
Try
to keep the child's room at a constant temperature (64F/66F or18C/20C).
You can dress your child in a T-shirt and light pajama under the sleeping
bag.
To
check Babies' body heat do not rely on touching their hands...Because
of their immature blood circulation, babies tend to have cold hands.
Instead check their stomach or back. If you feel that your baby is too
warm ( flushed and sweaty ) simply remove a layer of clothes. Add
or decrease layers of clothing according to changes of temperature.
The
main reason why parents choose to have a summer and a winter baby sleeping
bag is that they want to keep their babies in the habit of sleeping
in one, without interruption. For more information on crib safety,

Why
a sleeping bag for your baby?
SIDS associations recommend the use
of sleeping bags instead of blankets. Find
out what some parents wrote about this concept.
Blankets
are dangerous in the crib: A child can easily become entangled in
a blanket and suffocate. Our
sleeping bags replace these blankets: Baby stays safe and warm, sleeps
better, so you do too!
Introduced in Europe about twenty years ago, baby sleeping bags also
referred as sleep sacks in the United Kingdom, have become a necessity
for all European mothers. They are worn over pajamas and once zipped
cannot slip off the child's body. Wide at the bottom they allow freedom
of movement for the legs.
No
more Blankets! No more cold feet!
